Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using WebBall. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, so licensing and refunds follow Apple’s agreements.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms form the agreement between you and the developer of WebBall regarding your use of the app. Please pay particular attention to Section 3 (Purchases, subscriptions and refunds) and Section 7 (Limitation of liability).

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using WebBall (“the App”), you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and uninstall it.

2. License

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and its license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). Where these terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails with respect to the license obtained through the App Store.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control. The App is closed-source commercial software, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted.

3. Purchases, subscriptions and refunds

All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. As the developer, we cannot issue refunds, change orders, or view your payment information.

  • Free tier: every feature is free to use, with a generous allowance — the only limit is the number of floating balls (up to 5). If you need more, a paid purchase supports the project.
  • One-time purchase: pay once and keep using it, with no automatic renewal.
  • Yearly subscription: an auto-renewable subscription with a 1-year term.

Prices, currency, and availability are those shown on the App Store product page and may differ by region and over time.

Auto-renewal: the yearly subscription renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple account is charged, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before expiry. You can manage or cancel at any time in System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current period.

Refunds: submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Whether a refund is granted is decided by Apple under its policies; we cannot influence the outcome. See also our Support page.

4. Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by law, you may not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
  • modify, translate, redistribute, resell, rent, or lend the App, or bundle it into another product;
  • remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
  • bypass or attempt to bypass subscription checks or quota limits;
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

5. Third-party services

Page translation and AI chat are provided by third parties. We cannot guarantee their accuracy, availability, or continuity, and we are not responsible for their output. Your use of those services is also subject to the terms and policies of the respective providers.

The App can open any third-party website. We neither control nor endorse the content of those sites; you are responsible for judging their legality and safety.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any third-party website or service will be reachable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or change or discontinue features. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use means you accept them. If you breach these terms, this license terminates automatically and you must stop using and uninstall the App.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules in your own country. Transactions made through the App Store are additionally subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions and related agreements.
